Psychoeducational evaluations for children or teens are conducted following an initial consultation in our office. These assessments assist in the diagnosis of ADHD, learning differences (including dyslexia/ dysgraphia), and differential diagnosis of other childhood disorders including anxiety and depression. Evaluations for giftedness and specialized educational programs are also provided. We can also provide Independent Educational Evaluations for children with specialized needs in public school.
Psychoeducational evaluations for adults can include updated evaluations for college entrance examinations, LSAT, MCAT, and other standardized examinations, college or job-related accommodations, or assessment for individuals wishing to return to school.
A psychological evaluation can assist adults who believe they may have an undiagnosed Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder with obtaining an accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations. These might include medication or accommodations in the workplace or higher education.
Differential diagnostic evaluations are designed to assist physicians, other clinicians, and individuals with obtaining standardized data to aid in the diagnosis of complex symptom patterns in order to provide focused treatment recommendations.
Judges and attorneys often refer individuals for psychological testing as a part of legal proceedings. Please contact us to determine if we can provide the type of evaluation that was court-ordered or requested for your situation.
We can provide other speciality evaluations including pre-surgical consultations, as well as evaluations required for individuals preparing for surrogacy, for admission to various treatment programs, and those navigating immigration requirements. Additionally, we can provide Independent Educational Evaluations requested by parents in public schools.
